Entrepreneurship Redefined: Women Doing Business Differently

Entrepreneurship Redefined: Women Doing Business Differently is an initiative led by SADC Shawinigan from 2018 to 2021. It aimed to support women entrepreneurs, especially those running part-time entrepreneurial activities — a phenomenon that remains underrecognized and underdocumented in Quebec.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Objective 1: Collaborate with organizations and government ministries offering entrepreneurship support programs to identify effective solutions for removing institutional barriers faced by women engaged in part-time entrepreneurial activities.

Objective 2: Adapt existing support programs and tools to better respond to the realities and challenges faced by part-time women entrepreneurs.
